Once again, its the last day of the year. With the new year approaching, im certainly not going to make any resolutions for a simple reason - i never ever remember what they are, much less keep them. So, instead of attempting to make empty promises, i reckon i should review what ive learnt over the past year instead.

1. Studying can never be compared to working so count yourself lucky you still have school holidays and parents to give you allowance.

2. There is such a thing as procrastinating in stopping procrastination.

3. Im still having mental diahrroea, verbal constipation and psychological insecurities.

4. I can actually afford a car! in Perth...

5. Valleygirl is purely sinful. So is Supre and Tim Tams and Miss Maud's and Nando's and Gelare and Blockbuster and...

6. The oven is the most useful and convenient among all kitchen appliances.

7. Aquaintances are aplenty, but friends are scarce.

8. 715 is the hot new number.

9. Chinese is the new national language.

10. Singaporeans need fateful events and major catastrophes to show their empathy and generosity.

Hey girl, i know how hard it is out there for you...the burdens, the worries, the frustration, the stress. But rest assured, you'll always have me and our dearest buddies with you. Up or down, high or low, good or bad, we'll always be your listening ears and silent supporters. Our friendship is certainly still the most special and cherished one even after all these years. Jc or uni, nothing can ever beat those fantastic times in PL and im glad that we're still the best of sisters till now. So, dont fret my dear, you'll always be in our prayers. Whether in Sydney or NUS, Perth or SIM, we still love you as much and we'll definitely walk your path with you.

But hey, whatever it is, you know the number.

Sigh. Ive been running about the past couple of days, accompanying my mom to visit my grandpa at the hospital. Have to go down to CGH again tomorrow and the trips will probably continue for the next few days as well since things dont seem very positive. Ive been waking up at 10 nowadays instead of my usual afternoon hour. Sigh. The lack of sleep is draining me, yet when i try to hit the sheets early im still plagued by insomnia. Grr.

Worse, there's nothing on tv that can at least perk me up. Other than the 5.30 show, everything else basically sucks. The 7pm show's pure torture. I vividly remember that it was showing before i left; but now that im back after 4 months, it's still on! What the?! And while the previous 9pm serial was quite a screen delight, the current one thats showing now is completely unpalatable. Argh. Isnt there anything on screen that's worth watching?! Tsk. I guess i have to turn to my "Champion" tapes if im really desperate. At the very least i can ogle at 715's hot bod. Mm.

Whee...! Went swimming with Jh today. Ahh...finally. The feel of the water was simply therapeutic. Havent swum for ages and it certainly feels damn good to be back in the pool once again. But of course, my lack of exercise over the past year saw a bad display of stamina. O well, swimming's my favorite sport nonetheless. How else can one get a full body workout without drowning in sweat? Too bad the weather wasnt too supportive so we could only swim for an hour or so. And i couldnt get a bronze enough tan! Sob. Ok, i know its practically impossible to achieve that within a day. Sigh. Hopefully God will grant us perfect weather in Bintan!

ARGHHH!!! The bloody weather's killing me! I cant stop perspiring even after i step out of the shower. And its not even a hot shower. The sudden surge of heat immediately melts me the moment i turn off the shower knob. What the hell. Where are the days that i shiver after emerging from a bath, that everywhere under the sky feels air-conditioned, and that i get goosebumps from the chilly wind the minute i step out in the open? Where?! Where?! Where?!

Help meeee.......im meltinggggg.......
