HELP!

Q: What grounds were there for the fears of those who, in the years 1789-1799, believed that revolution would spread beyond the frontiers of France to the rest of continental Europe?

Im absolutely clueless here so can somebody enlighten me or i cant sleep in peace tonight!!! Grr...i cant understand what the rest of them explained on the forum...Bleah.
