Confessions of a Weary Mind

Several things happened over the last few days/past week and its all accumulating since i havent been updating my blog regularly. but o well, at least i can sacrifice abit of homework time tonight to just recharge myself after all the multiple essays and what-nots. haha.

anyway, let's start with last week. hmm, wednesday was a really bad day. we screwed up our dragonboating heats and coordination totally went haywire. lost out to A08 by a mere 4 seconds though we beat the blardy Science A class. despite the rather disappointing results, we nevertheless enjoyed outselves loads on that day, especially for the kayaking mixed doubles and mini-dragonboat heats. incredibly fun! all of us had a whale of a time! after the heats ended, we went for a mini class "outing", or rather, dinner at city hall where ended up laughing at the size of aidil's *ahem* b***s...yeah weird dinner conversation topic though. haha.

yep and addie and the rest found out that he* will be going for prom and thank god their class managed to get a table during Fri's booking session. phew, fortunately all our arts classes starting queueing since 12 or else we would've ended up having our own class prom by One Fullerton (though its not that bad an idea too..haha). but anyway, those other science classes who came late and complained that they didnt get any tables seriously ought to be shot. fancy pushing the blame onto the Council and the teachers-in-charge when they themselves failed to start queueing early. geez. do these geeks really have common sense? i doubt so. now they're appealing for prom venue to be changed to Ritz instead of Fullerton since the former can accomodate more. like hellooo...the deposit has been paid! and you guys were the ones who voted for Fullerton! get over it! -_-"'

yeah moving on...let's see...o, the sea carnival heats results were out yesterday. it was absolutely astounding to realise that we actually made it to the finals for the mini-dragonboat! geez, and we thought we'd capsize. woah, its gonna be a really tough fight from now onwards! what's more, xm and aidil, plus how boon and arliana got in the finals for the mixed doubles too! o man! how amazing is that?! and yeah, we're all counting on them now...but im confident they'll do marvellous job!

meanwhile, over break today, ms kon suggested we go for an all-girls tanning session at sentosa during the 2nd week of vacation. it sounded delicious cos all of us desperately wanted to get an even tan. what was even more exciting was that she has a discount for the beaufort and so we could stay over for the night! at a mere $10 each (where she'd cover the rest of the accomodation costs), our outing is so going to be a fulfilling one! yummy! ooh...the beaufort...! o but actually, i'd be staying over for a night there too this coming weekend cos my mum's office gives their staff some special concession or something like that for the sentosa hotels. weeee...great weekend ahead, though i foresee myself spending my time there cramming cheng yus, guan yong yus and other cheena dirt. sigh. chinese's on monday. bleah i hate doing zuo wen.


hmm, i guess that's roughly all i have to update for now. next week's gonna be jam-packed too cos of all the makeup lessons/lectures so i reckon i wont be up for another 1-2 weeks or so. yeah in the meantime, let's all look forward to the end of the term! enjoy the last week! =)
