Mich and i went on a job hunt today. Silly us to think that those huge banks and companies at Raffles Place would want to employ small fries like us. Actually, we were more bothered about feeling very out of place in a territory buzzing with "upper-class" folks instead of concentrating on enquiring about possible employment opportunities. O well, the trip was an eye-opener anyway.

After lunch we ended up at International Plaza to sign up with the job agency - at least a fruitful collection for today. We signed up for an office admin job and stated a minimum salary of $800. Now im beginning to wonder if it's too little after minusing CPF and all that. Hmm. Anyway, hopefully both of us get a job, or better still, the same job! The lady seemed even more enthusiastic than us and asked if we would want to start work next week (even though we wrote that we would hope to start in Jan'04)?! But me being a smart-ass, thinking of how to reject, gave a stewpid and obvious lie that we were going on holiday till the 31st. Damn, i feel like an idiot. O whatever, we can only keep our fingers crossed for now.
