Witching Hour
Gosh, i seriously have to start correcting my sleep pattern. At the current rate im going, my body clock's gonna be so damn screwed. Not to mention my whole body system as well.
I can never hit the sheets earlier than 3am. Even then, thoughts will still continue to wander my mind, visions become bolder with the lights out, and the tossing and turning wont cease still slumber unconsciously sets in. By the time the entire process of falling asleep is completed, i reckon the sun's already making its way up the horizon.
The next thing i know, my instinctive alarm clock rings and its 3pm the following day. There goes the routine all over again. Wash up, read the morning's (and afternoon edition of Today) papers, have lunch, go online, have dinner, watch tv, go online again, watch more tv and ending the day off with Mad About You at 3am.
Im getting increasingly concerned about the lifestyle im leading now. Obviously it's awfully unhealthy and if i dont attempt to rectify this problem soon enough, i cant bear to imagine the dreadful consequences later on when school starts. But the thing is, im already so adapted to such a pattern, i cant not sleep early!
The midnight silence is the perfect climate for me to revel in my activities (no, unfortunately or not, im not surfing porn), to emerge from under the sheets and skin to be who i am, to purely enjoy what i do, without the caustic annoyance and irritation of exasperating phone calls and all other disturbances. I fathom it's all the workings of my defiant inner creature. The introvert, anti-social alien who loathes anything and everything spirited that's likely to threaten its individualistic existence. Looks like i need some potion from Dr Jekyll before my sleep pattern can be reverted.
