Bad Review - 2 out of 5 stars

Meteor Garden 2 is absolutely awful. It's a far cry from the first series. No more F4, it's only F1 + 2. Yep, the entire serial is only revolved round DMS and Michelle Saram plus Shancai. There are some occasional pop-ups by the other F3 but unless you're a die-hard Jerry Yen fan, I suggest nobody buys the vcd. Catching it on tv later on is already giving the show enough credit. Yes, it's that bad.

So now we finally realise why there's a sudden upsurge of Taiwanese Ou Xiang Ju generated wholesale from Jap mangas. Their scriptwriters are truly failing in their job. The plot is saturated and restricted. Sigh. Why dont they just let F4 remain as history instead of cashing in on them. Trying hard to pacify the local audience obviously doesnt work judging from all complaints from fans about Michelle Saram. Tsk tsk tsk. Perhaps they ought to learn from their fellow Jap or Korean counterparts.
