5 months ago i had an entry dedicated to a pal just before she was leaving for Sydney. Today, i've received a similar one from my other bosom buddy. What can i say? Well, alot actually. But i've reserved that for a personal note. So for now, it's a big Thank You. Thank you Bibi for the prayers, well-wishes and support. In fact, it's also a thank you to all my chums, especially S6 who've been the most encouraging and inspiring ones since our 3D days.
To my A02 mates - particularly Xm, Addie, Jamie, Chongwen, Liting & Shikah, im really sorry i couldnt organise a gathering lately cos i've honestly been caught up with the last minute preparations and packing. But rest assured we'll definitely have a chance to catch up again in Dec when im back. Meanwhile, thanks for all the amazing times as well and all the best to you guys!
So anyway, it's 3 days to departure and all im getting are excitement vibes. Weird? Perhaps. The fact that i've been exchanging emails with Lim San every day doesnt do anything to slacken the mood. I quote: "our relatives also brought us to curtin uni and i tell ya it is damn big! as big as ntu and it is also very modern.. i think you will like it.." O she bet i will. And i absolutely love it even more that at least unis over there hold the full understanding that they are unis afterall and therefore do not organise idiotic orientation games like Treasure-run-all-around-Sentosa-disgracing-Spore-and-Uni-students-Hunt or Dog-and-dont-you-bitch (pun intended)-dare-grab-my-Bone to break the false ice. I seriously think this will be the first-ever orientation program I'd love talking part in. So, i'd initially thought i would've been more sad than excited, but now that it's the other way around, i reckon this is a good sign. Of course, i wouldnt say that i'd feel the same way on Tuesday, but afterall, it always happens on THE day. Plus, airports are always built with the invisible capacity to make you cry.
But well, honestly, other than family and friends, i'll miss my tv programs the most! And i cant be more than irritated. Why couldnt they air the Amazing Race and the Simple Life earlier???!!! Now im left hanging less than halfway through my shows. Darn. And that's not all. The channel 55 just had to reserve my better HK dramas for late July and August. And these are the serials that they knew i couldnt download. What the?!?!?! O fine, at least they still have Gilmore Girls over there. See, now you know why im doing Film and TV.
