Wardrobe Woes

Im definitely starting to worry about how to pack my entire wardrobe into 1 huge suitcase. I initially figured just bringing three-quarters of whatever pathetic clothes i own would actually be quite a sacrifice already, until i seriously got down to work.

After an afternoon of trying all sorts of folding styles and various methods of deflating one half of the chosen three-quarter ensemble, it dawned on me that i only have less than half of the space in the suitcase left for my remaining clothes, which in fact happens to be my first category selections (i.e. the supposedly more 'presentable' ones). Great. Now being the bad packer that i am, i either have to throw out some clothes from the 1st stack to make space for the other, or i'll have simply have to find ways and means to stuff all of it in, even if it means sitting, lying or/and jumping on it to get all the blardy air out.

If my dad were ever to find out about this, he'll undoubtedly make a huge ruckus out of it. Particularly since he told me much earlier on that just bringing 10 sets of clothes would suffice. 10 sets?!?!?! It probably slipped his mind that we dont wear uniforms anymore, or that i'll be living there for 4-5 months and not going backpacking. I can hardly visualise myself wearing the same top and bottom every week, like a certain monday outfit or tuesday attire(???!!!). That is so...wrong.

I guess i'll have to do whatever it takes to pack all the darn clothes in, and that is not to even suggest that my shoes and winter wear are taken into account. Looks like i either have to get another luggage bag or treat it as hand-carry, bringing it to the total number of 3 luggages, 1 DHL box and 1 backpack. Boy, am i moving house. Period.
