Of those darn 'Chakiats & Sneakers'

MY SHOW IS PREMIERING ON CH 5 NEXT TUES (17 April @ 7.30pm)!!!

Alright, alright...its not entirely MY show...but hey, i was the researcher for the story so i should be given some credit too! Of course i have to thank my fellow teh kaki cum dear colleague Rachel for recommending her friend, Chin Teck, to me. I think my relentless bugging and wining to everyone in the office stressed her out so much she dreamt of me, her cosplay-practising friend and the show...and yup, the rest they say, is history.

So yes, they better credit me in the darn credits cos if i weren't the one who liaised with Chin Teck, they wouldn't have such a hit theme for the debut episode! Can't wait to see how it turns out cos apparently Chin Teck and her mom weren't very pleased with how the shoots went. It probably spoilt my reputation la. O well, thank goodness i was relegated to the position of preliminary researcher. That was already bad enough. I shudder to think how absolutely horrendous it would be if i didnt have to come back to Perth and really ended up being Producer.

O and my sis just reminded me - i should also be credited for Casting la! Although the artistes that we auditioned werent the chosen hosts in the end (except for Suhaimi who was auditioned by Raven cos i was in Perth during that period), the process was pure torture please! Even though dui-ing bai with artistes initially sounded pretty easy, obvious bad hosting skills do start to eat at you after a while. PLUS, having to "entertain" certain wannabes like ahem, Miss "Genie in a Bottle", didnt make it any more pleasant. Argh...whatever. Ok, yes, i shall stop griping. The bottom line is - Raven and i should be credited cos we put in so much sweat and blood for the pre-prod for such a last-minute program!

So, to whoever bothers to catch it, i would really appreciate some feedback!

P.S. By right, the correct dialect pronunciation is 'ChakiaT', not Chakia. Yet somehow no one really knew that fact (which of course, is quite apparent that the program is produced by the Sneakers generation).
