No school for the next 5 days! Yippee!

Time was wasted slacking away in school again today. Only 10 people in the entire class turned up and lessons were pathetic. Furthermore, adding on the 3 extra periods of break, life was super slack. At least we missed 1 period of the first lesson due to susie chan's naggy speech, but non of us did mind that much. Moreover, she's leaving soon so might as well let her ramble on in case she doesnt have another chance to. Everyone was caught by surprise, especially us and other J1s who were right in front of the hall, when susie chan started sobbing a little after informing us about her coming departure. Our jaws really dropped and all our eyebrows were raised simultaneously. Innocent little Xiaomin even whispered to me that she felt a little sad for susie at that moment. Ooh.

Yeah anyway, moving on. As mentioned, we were slacking around, so we finally ended up in the library. We were admiring the various art works put up on display and we happened to stumble upon a really really absolutely fabulous art piece. It was Maybella's! Yep, it's that Maybella, the you-know-who one everyone in PL used to know. Her art installation piece was awesome! Truly captivating! It wasn't just a piece of drawing or some simple arty stuff, but it was a whole art project which occupied the entire isolated corner of the library. It's magnificent. Everyone has to go see it. It was her entire life story and the way she presented it was just so perfect, we all think she deserves a high grade for it. Her story was quite sad though. Her childhood was traumatic (and so we know why she's like that in PL), and she even admitted and faced up to her homosexual past courageously. Photos of her taken 2, 3 years back completely portrayed a different her. I even recalled the 1st time I entered TP, I kinda walked past her a few times but didnt realise she was actually Maybella until Xm told me. Gosh. I was shocked by the immense transformation she underwent, and in fact, a lot of people have agreed with me that she definitely looks damn chio now. She should have just stayed this way all along. Still, her life story unfolded and was expressed through her art piece. It was rather sad to see how her past was actually like, and it was quite touching as she dared to stand up to all that. It's not just the final masterpiece itself that's fantastic, but through her art, she managed to express herself and overcome the odds (physically and emotionally). She deserves the credit and the admiration. Definitely impressive.

Just thinking: If only Jane saw her art work and all that was behind it. Would she change like Maybella? Maybe. Hopefully.
