One month later...
Im back here again finally, after an exhausting and mentally draining 1 month. So much has happened but yet, it's drilling me down even more. I don't wish to remember what I've gone through this entire year, cos there's nothing much for me to look back upon. The only happenings this year that will follow me into my grave will be that day in July when we were at Sentosa, celebrating Janelle's, Jinghui's and Jingxian's birthday...it was such a beautiful memory that can never be erased...Of course, not to forget, yesterday was the 2nd best day in my life this whole year...Im not really eloquent and can't express myself well like milly or michelle, but yesterday was definitely the most touching day for me (besides the day i received janelle's card)! Thank you guys sooooo sooooo much for all you've done!!! the present was fabulous!!! it's amazing that all my presents from u guys are sooooo precious and special! i love u guys soooooo sooooooo much!!! God has definitely blessed me with such great friends in my whole life that i can never ask for anything more! Even if i cant get married, i'll still be wayyy contented to have S6 for life! I LOVE YOU GUYS and i really mean it from the depths of my heart! Thank you so so much my friends! You guys are the best present that i can ever get in this entire pathetic life of mine!
Well, getting on, the day at Janelle's house was simply great. I really couldn't bear to leave them but after receiving Cathy's call at 11pm, i reckoned it would be rather interesting to do something i'd never done so far - hanging out at the Esplanade at midnight. the ride on the 133 was pretty long, but when we reached Marina Bay, the view was simply beyond description. especially strolling along the bridge heading towards the Merlion, the night view was breathtaking! We really regretted not bringing our cameras along for some snapshots. Sigh, that was a real waste. But well, at least we had the chance to go out so late together. Trudging along the 2 km(?) or so road to Lau Pa Sat after that was indeed exhausting, but it was a worthwhile effort to be able to be treated to the delicious stingray after that. By that time it was already 1am, but the "feast" was revitalising and we figured getting high since it's our first time doing it together anyway. So we headed towards the 7-11 opposite and grabbed 3 bottles of alcohol...1 Hooch and 2 vodkas. My Vodka Blue tasted reminded me of cough syrup, so I guess that would probably be my 1st and last time drinking that. Alright, the alcohol percentage for each was rather low...the highest being only 6% (the Q Vodka with raspberry)...so we didn't really succeed in getting high...Yeah, sitting along the stpes outside this certain ASO Building in the CBD district drowning ourselves with pathetic unable-to-get-high drinks was pretty pitiful...especially judging from the stares of passing drivers. but well, it was a cool experience anyway...hanging around in the CBD at 2 am where silence ruled the area. Cathy was a little tipsy after that...her face was quite rosy so we had the last gulp and hailed a taxi back home. Yeah i reached home in the middle of the night so I had to climb over the gate...fortunately my mum left the inside doors unlocked or i would be lying outside this morning already. Oh well, yesterday was something different and yeah, i wouldn't dismiss the thought of having another similar day again.
